Product Highlight: Extra Large Iron-On Appliqués

Posted on February 25, 2013 by Emma Herman | 0 Comments

We have a new collection of iron-on appliqués from India. Lehenga appliqués are extra large sized patches that were originally designed for the bottom of Indian skirts. Here are a few gorgeous examples:

These examples are heavily beaded and embroidered.  Our ghagra appliqués are more simply embroidered in solid colors.  We have them available in navy, red, teal, sea green, pink, black, white and dark red.

I call them extra large appliqués because they are the largest I have ever come across.  They are 18 ½ inches long (about 47 centimeters) and 4 ½ inches (about 11 centimeters) across at their widest point.

Of course the ghagra appliques would look great on the bottom of a long skirt or dress but I also think these could work to personalize home decorations like curtains and tablecloths.

You will be able to purchase our lehenga appliqués on eBay in a few days.
